Avene Hydrance Optimal Light

Im one of those women in their 30′s who still get some acne.  As im always preaching its vital to use effective products for control.  When trying to control the sebum level sometimes people use products that completly dry out the skin until it feels tight.  This action actually encourages the body to produce more sebum making acne worse.  Also if the skin feels dry and tight the liklihood is that scratching occurs which spreads the acne.  Moisturising is so important but what you use is vital.  If a prosuct has a very greasy base it will obviously create more zits.  This is where products like avene Hydrance light comes in.  I wear it morning and night.  It contains Lipomucine which increases coverage and 1% sebo absorbing capsules for a matifying effect which lasts all day.  Most importantly its a dream to wear under make up.  It dosent dilute foundation but due to the matifying effect it helps your slap stick on all day

hey selene, what is the best way to get rid of stubborn blemishes? ive gotten a few spots over the last few months that have never really cleared up, they are just little flat red blemishes, would a peel get rid of them?
Also any tips on how to get rid of dark circles under eyes?!

    • Hi Lucy,
Thanks for the comment. Im a sufferer of acne myself and i find the first point of call is to sort out the everyday routine. Avene cleanance wash in addition to hydrance optimale is a great start. Also check that your foundation is non grease based. Im really loving MAC matchmaster at the moment. Your right a peel such a s skinceuticals skin brightening peel would be excellent. You could also try a course of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) in combination with the peel for an even better result.
Darkcircles are genetic and can be a difficult one. Firstly you could try camaflague with good old reliables like rimmel blemish stick, dermablend stick by la roche posay or benefit erase paste.
Two topical creams i find effective are La Roche Posay Active C XL or skinceuticals AOX eye gel.
Best of Luck Lucy and happy christmas x
